Max's New Hat Nov 2008
Max's New Hat is a group performing Balkan traditional music. Much of it sounds like Klezmer music. Very lively. I caught this at one of Brooklyn's farmers markets at Carroll and Smith streets. From there I caught the Ikea shutle bus to the Ikea store in Red Hook where I picked up necessities like a bucket of Lingonberry jam. Then returned to Manhattan via the free Ikea catamaran ferry boat.
