I looked up Jahn's on the web.and came up with a location that had closed a litle over a year ago.in Queens. I was surprised because I had thought that the last location had closed around 20 years ago. The Wikepdia article stated that one location is still in business and that is at 81-04 37th Ave in Jackson Heights, Queens 11372. Tel 718-651-0700. I decided to investigate.
Sure enough, there is a Jahn's in Jackson Heights but it is a pale shadow of the magnificent establishments they had in the Bronx just off Fordham, along Route 4 in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and other locations. The huge Kitchen Sink is still offered ($47.00) but they no longer offer a free one to those who can finish one by themselves. Most of the kinky sundaes such as the Awful Awful, the Suicide Frappe and Screwball Delight are no longer offered. I was able to order the Joe Sent Me and it was very nice but expensive ($6.50) and rather small. The Bronx location used to make a great cherry/lime Rickey with distinct red and green layers of liquid, one above the other. This is no longer on the menu and they will not make it for you.
