I was going to document the whole move but I was just too exhausted while carrying endless loads up to the third story where Adam and Geraldine's apt is. The waitress at Haag's told me that the owner had intended closing the hotel this year because the price of gas had caused the number of customers to drop off sharply. Business has picked up again, so maybe the place will be around for a while longer.
